    This is a 1-year contract position, with an possibility of converting to permanent.

     

    Be a part of growing our Facilities Maintenance Canada division!   Reporting to the Merchandising and Marketing manager, you will partner with the Merchandising, Sales and the Leadership teams to create the strategy for the calendar, marketing programs, collateral creation and production.  You will be covering for a leave, but this department and the marketing efforts in our Canada division are growing and the opportunity to covert to permanent is a very real possibility.

     

    Job Summary:

     

    • Planning and production for all marketing efforts in Facilities Maintenance, Canada Division.
    • Manages internal and external resources for development of marketing materials including creative direction and the creation of workback schedules.
    • Collaborate with our product merchants to develop an annual catalogue along with monthly flyers and marketing sales support collateral for our multi-family, hospitality and healthcare verticals.
    • Works with Marketing CRM, sales team along with merchants to understand needs of business units and determine most effective tactical execution.
    • Analyze ROI and make recommendations to maximize value.
    • Communicate marketing campaigns and programs to business.

    Preferred Qualifications: 

    • 7+ years in marketing role
    • Proven history of executing simple and complex marketing campaigns.
    • Experience setting and managing goals and objectives.
    • Proficiency in MS Office.
    • Analytical skills, solid work in MS Excel.
    • SEO, SEM.
    • Experience with using Adobe Creative Publishing Suites.
    • BS/BA is preferred but not required.

    Job Description

    Job Summary

    Responsible for the management of the day-to-day execution of our product and corporate brand marketing. Ensure customer collateral is engaging and drives customers to HD Supply to buy products and services. Responsible for developing market strategies that assist our sales team to profitably grow Facilities Maintenance customer market share. Works to provide a high level service to maximize sales and gross profit by identifying trends and challenges and looking to implement long term solutions.

     

    Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities 

    • Works with Marketing CRM, sales team along with merchants to understand needs of business units and determine most effective tactical execution.
    • Responsible for developing annual marketing calendar and aligning internal resources to ensure each campaign is executed on time.
    • Manages internal and external resources for development of marketing materials. Collaborate with our product merchants to develop an annual catalogue along with monthly flyers, tabloids and brand standards guides for our multi-family, hospitality and healthcare verticals.
    • Develops content and proofreads printed materials.
    • Manages a wide range of marketing projects through completion within established deadlines.
    • Reviews brand usage in diverse applications to ensure consistency and adherence to defined standards.
    • Manages corporate sponsorships and customer appreciation opportunities.
    • Supervise the performance of associates through coaching and developing.

    Nature and Scope

    • Experience provides solutions.
    • Ensure that work is performed consistently with HD Supply policies and procedures.
    • Leads a group or team of support, craft, or lower level professional associates.

    Work Environment

    • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
    • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
    • Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Must be eighteen years of age
    • Must pass the Drug Test
    • Must pass the Background Check
    • Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable

    Education and Experience

    • Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline. Generally 5+ years experience in related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
