    Job Description

    Job Summary

    Provide administrative support to assigned sales client group to include management support and manage workflow in support of Sales Representatives. Through constant phone, fax or email contact, act as liaison between corporate and outside sales population. Develop letters, designing minor queries and reports, create/update forms and presentations.

    Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

     

    • Prioritize/delegatedaily and weekly activities to ensure effective management of workload.
    • Answer multi-line phone, reply to emails, or take requests via all means of communications.
    • Produce wide range of reporting. Compile and distribute weekly/monthly activity summaries as requested by management of region.
    • Orchestrate meetings, conference rooms and catering for events.
    • Arrange travel and order equipment for assigned client group.
    • Coordinates projects with all HD Supply departments as needed to assist management. Assist other departments in preparation for special projects, special orders, specific marketing pieces and other processes as needed.
    • Oversee miscellaneous projects and assist Executives and managers as needed.

      Nature and Scope

       

    • Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.
    • Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior co worker or supervisor.

      Work Environment

       

    • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
    • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
    • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

      Minimum Qualifications

       

    • Must be eighteen years of age
    • Must pass the Drug Test
    • Must pass the Background Check
    • Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable

      Education and Experience

       

    • HS Diploma or GED required. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally 2 - 5 years of experience in area of responsibility.

      Preferred Qualifications

       

    • 0-2 years sales support experience.
    • Experience compiling statistics and preparing various reports for management.
    • Experience supporting sales staff with proposals and maps.
