Job Description

Job Summary

 

Working in a 5+ person inside sales team, you will provide Gold Standard customer and account service to our existing customers in the healthcare and multifamily industry.  You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales plan goals by making outbound sales calls, activating and reactivating accounts, verifying customer data, informing customers and prospects with value proposition information.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

 

  • Make outbound sales calls for the purpose of converting, penetrating or retaining existing or new accounts.
  • Responsible to profitably growing sales to achieve yearly sales growth goals as a sales consultant through the development of relationships with emphasis on solutions for current core industries and emerging industries and markets.
  • Identify large business opportunities and work with sales management to close deals.
  • Complete daily or weekly sales reports as assigned.
  • Assist in collecting updated information on accounts (contact names, phone #s, etc) and database management.
  • Nature and Scope

     

  • Selects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices or instruction. Seeks advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor. Deviations from the norm are cleared by the supervisor.
  • Under close supervision, exercises limited latitude/independent judgment. Work typically involves detailed checks or close review of output by a senior co-worker and/or supervisor.

  • Work Environment

     

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • No travel required.
  • Minimum Qualifications

     

  • Must be eighteen years of age
  • Education and Experience

     

  • HS Diploma or GED required. 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience in business to business sales.
  • Knowledge in HDS product line.
